Cybersecurity is a rapidly growing industry in need of bright, well-educated employees
– yet only about 11 percent of the workforce is female.
Let us help you drive the change.
Women are severely underrepresented in the field of cybersecurity to the detriment, we believe, of the industry as a whole. To encourage young women to explore a career in this field, we are providing three scholarships for female students enrolled or enrolling in cybersecurity-related studies. The program was initiated by Morphisec’s VP of Product Netta Schmeidler and she serves as chairperson of the scholarship committee. It is an issue she cares about deeply, as you can read in this article.
At Morphisec, we believe that diversity drives innovation and we strive to increase the number of women employed in cybersecurity and related fields. Our current scholarship opportunities are open to female students who are studying for degrees in:
Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited college or university during the 2017-2018 academic school year. Applicants must also be Israeli Citizens or Permanent Legal Residents of Israel or U.S. Citizens or Permanent Legal Residents of the Unites States.
The program launch in October coincides with Cyber Security Awareness Month, but cybersecurity issues affect our daily lives year-round. Morphisec aims to heighten awareness of the importance of this field and encourage the exploration of careers in cybersecurity, particularly for women.
We are pleased to offer three scholarships in the following amounts:
As part of the award, the first prize winner will receive an online coaching session on strategies to overcome obstacles women often meet in cybersecurity roles.
The cost of higher education has skyrocketed over the years, and inability to pay tuition can prevent talented individuals from realizing their potential. Morphisec knows the important role universities play in not just educating students but driving innovation. In fact, Morphisec has deep roots in the university environment and the company’s existence stems from the work and research of our CSO Mordechai Guri, Ph.D.
Given that our headquarters are located in Israel and the United States, Morphisec chose to roll out the scholarship program in these regions first.

“As a media company, Lagardère Active is lean in IT and security resources, yet it is prone to advanced attacks. In Morphisec we found the prevention layer that mitigates advanced attacks without any effect on our team, which is key for us.”

“With Morphisec, we found a rare combination of powerful prevention and total compatibility with the Motoman working environment. In my experience, I have never seen a piece of enterprise security software that has been so easy and fast to deploy with practically zero configuration required and no effect on endpoint performance. We are very pleased with our decision to partner with Morphisec.”
